Somatic Yoga
Tuesdays & Thursdays | 7:30am - 8:30am
Soft Medicine, Sebastopol CA
Somatic yoga is a trauma-informed and aware gentle practice that helps us come into a deeper and intentional connection with the more subtle energies and sensations in the physical body through each shape, moment of stillness, breath, and moments of mindful movement. This deeper awareness helps us to tap into the innate wisdom of the body to release and restore itself. Guided practice will include elements of Qigong, Classical Hatha Yoga, Yin Yoga, and guided Meditation. We flow slowly through poses taking time to notice the nuances of each shape, and synching movements with breath. Somatic therapy modalities are integrated into the practice, which means the practice will help you to increase body and sensation awareness, breath awareness and control, and other techniques to help balance and calm the nervous system. All levels are welcome and will be accommodated. Classes are judgment free and welcoming to all.
Flow & Restore
Tuesdays & Thursdays | 5:30pm - 6:45pm
Deep Roots Yoga and Wellness, Graton CA
Flow and Restore begins with gentle yet dynamic movement, syncing breath with body in order to move out any energy that is stagnant and create flow in the body and mind. Once the flow is created we are able to then settle into a calm and quiet, grounding practice of yin and restorative postures to nourish the nervous system, body, mind, and heart. Taking you deeper into release, savasana will be accompanied with various sound healings and melodic chants. Through this balanced and present practice you will learn how to connect to and take refuge in your body and your breath. All levels and all bodies are welcome.

Therapeutic Yoga and Sound Healing
Sunday October 19th | 3:30 - 5:30pm
Integral Yoga Institute, San Francisco CA
Therapeutic Yoga and Sound Healing are remedies for the challenges of our stressful times, and blends restorative yoga with guided breath-work and sound healing. Accompanied by the healing sounds of various instruments, you will be gently guided to relax into postures that allow for deep relaxation and restoration of the entire body including tight muscles, restricted fascia, overstimulated nervous systems, and an overactive or out of balanced mind, resetting and restoring a natural rhythm to your whole being. The practice creates a calm, supportive and nurturing environment in which you can relax and let go, allowing the innate wisdom of your body to naturally restore balance and well-being. Whether you just need to decompress from stress, recover from injury or if you’re dealing with chronic illness, this workshop will help your body, mind and spirit to relax, rejuvenate, and heal. No prior yoga experience is necessary.
